Give. Get. Swych.

Let teachers know how much they’re appreciated!

Next to you — and grandmom and grandpop, of course — teachers have the biggest impact on our children. They’re with them nearly every day, and are responsible for so much more than just lesson plans and grading homework.

May 8-12 is National Teacher Appreciation Week. It’s a once-a-year reminder for us to thank those unsung heroes who teach our kids about the world they live in. While apples are great, here are some more terrific ideas to thank teachers for all they do:

Stock up the Classroom:  Help your teacher equip her classroom with what she needs by sending an e-gift card for Staples® or Best Buy.Gifts for Teacher Appreciation Week

Lunch is on You: For those rare days when your teacher can actually get out for lunch, make sure he has a Swych gift card he can use at his favorite place.

Give some much-needed R&R: Let’s face it, 7 hours a day managing inquisitive minds is no easy task. Give them the gift of relaxation with a Spa Week gift card so they can unwind with a massage or a facial.

When Reading is Fundamental: Send an e-gift for Barnes and Noble to that teacher with a passion for literature.

Life is an Adventure: For the teachers who encourage adventures, send an e-gift card for Groupon. You never know what new adventures they’ll find.

Want to say thanks from the whole class?  Band together and send e-gift cards for Celebrity Cruises, Hyatt Hotels and Resorts®, Hotels.com, Global Hotel Card, and others.

There are so many ways to say thank you to a teacher, and Swych makes it easy. Even if you haven’t picked out the perfect thank you, rest assured, they’ll still be able to get exactly what they want.  It’s as easy as “swyching” to another card.
